Sha’ab Maksour is a stunning offshore reef located about 14 km from Hamata in the southern Red Sea. Often compared to Elphinstone, this elongated reef features steep walls, deep plateaus, and strong currents, making it a thrilling dive site for experienced divers. The site is known for drift diving, with nutrient-rich waters attracting a variety of pelagic species, including sharks and large schools of fish. Due to its depth and unpredictable currents, this dive is best suited for advanced and professional divers.
