Nestled in the captivating waters of the Red Sea, the Big Brother Island dive site is a renowned and remote diving destination, situated 61 kilometers northeast of El Quseir, Egypt. It offers a diverse range of underwater experiences for diving enthusiasts. Current Conditions: Big Brother Island is known for its challenging diving conditions, characterized by strong currents and deep waters. These conditions make it an ideal location for experienced divers seeking exhilarating underwater adventures. The currents contribute to a nutrient-rich environment, attracting a wealth of marine life. Wrecks: The site features intriguing shipwrecks that add a historical dimension to the diving experience. Notably, the Numidia wreck rests at the northern tip of the island at a depth of approximately 8 to 85 meters, and the Aida wreck is located on the southwestern wall at depths ranging from 30 to 60 meters.

Big Brother, one of the Red Sea’s most iconic dive sites, is known for its steep walls and diverse marine life. The reef teems with colorful reef fish like anthias, angelfish, and parrotfish, while larger species such as tuna, barracuda, and jacks patrol the open waters. Divers frequently encounter oceanic whitetip sharks and hammerhead sharks, especially in the deeper waters. The reef is also home to vibrant corals, attracting moray eels, groupers, and Napoleon wrasse. With its exciting mix of reef and pelagic species, Big Brother promises thrilling underwater encounters.
